Browse Carbon County 72-Hour Releases

A Carbon County 72 hour release list would cover the wider three-day span that people often check after a weekend or holiday. Carbon County does not post that rolling release view. To find who was released in the last 72 hours, use a date-bounded county records request and confirm named bookings with the jail. The live bookings table shows current county custody, not prior releases. Court records, state corrections data, VINE, and federal sources can add context when the person's legal or custody path calls for them, but no single one replaces the county release entry.

Carbon County Three-Day Release Search

No official Carbon County 72-hour release feed appears in the sheriff or county sources reviewed. The online source is Current Bookings. It shows people in county custody when accessed. Sorting or exporting it cannot reconstruct Friday, Saturday, and Sunday releases because closed bookings are not part of its published data.

A three-day search must be built from existing agency records. For one or two known people, call Carbon County Jail at 435-636-3254 with each booking number and approximate date. For a durable result or a larger but focused span, submit a date-bounded request through Carbon County's GRAMA process. Ask for actual release timestamps and dispositions, not merely a list of names absent from today's roster.

Important: Carbon County roster absence cannot establish a release during a three-day window. It may also mark a transfer, hold, correction, or other custody change.

Check Carbon County 72-Hour Releases

A useful weekend or three-day inquiry starts with a defined date span. Include known names and booking numbers so the jail or records officer can distinguish people with similar names. The current table is still worth checking because it separates someone who appears booked now from a former row that requires more work.

  1. Write the exact start and end dates for the 72-hour period. Note whether the span includes a weekend or county holiday.
  2. Search Current Bookings by first and last name, then compare the booking number and arrival field.
  3. Call the jail about each known booking. Ask whether county custody ended in community release or transfer to another authority.
  4. Submit a focused GRAMA request for existing booking and release records within the date span. Request the timestamp, disposition, destination, and holds if recorded.
  5. Read the matching court order or disposition. Use UDC, VINE, BOP, or ICE only when the custody route supports that next check.

Use the Carbon County 24-Hour Releases route when the question concerns today rather than a full three-day span. Both workflows rely on the same official county record, but the request scope and timing differ.

Note: Ask for records that already exist; the county is not being asked to create a new rolling release feed.

Carbon County 72-Hour Release Fields

The official web table contains seven fields, all tied to current bookings. It does not publish a release date, release reason, release destination, or photo. Those missing fields are the core of a three-day release question. The distinction should remain clear in every call and request.

FieldHow it helps with the 72-hour span
Last name and first nameIdentifies a row that is still in Current Bookings.
Booking numberProvides the strongest county identifier for a call or records request.
ArrivalDates the start shown for the live booking; it is not a release field.
Holds 1, 2, and 3Three published hold columns may flag added custody issues but do not prove an outcome.
Release timestampNot online; ask for the actual date and time in the agency record.
Release dispositionNot online; needed to separate community release from an agency transfer.

The county bookings page provides a visual check of that current-only schema.

The seven columns help locate a live booking, yet they contain no field that can place a release inside the requested three-day window.

Weekend Carbon County Release Records

The Carbon County Sheriff and Jail page says the sheriff business office is closed Friday through Sunday and on holidays. Carbon County Jail remains open 24 hours, including holidays. Those posted hours describe access to the office and jail. They do not prove that releases, web updates, and written records responses follow one schedule.

A person may leave custody during a weekend even though office staff are not available through the usual business channel. The jail phone remains the immediate local contact. A later written request can provide the durable timestamp and recorded outcome. Around a holiday, define the dates rather than asking for a vague “holiday weekend” list, since the records officer needs a clear scope.

Unknown agency update lag matters here. Carbon County does not state how often the live roster changes or how long a former row stays visible because it publishes no archive or web retention policy. A delayed observation on Monday cannot be converted into a Saturday or Sunday release time.

Note: Office closure may delay access to records staff, but it does not establish when jail release processing occurred.

Frame Carbon County Release Requests

Submit the written request through the Carbon County GRAMA page under the County Clerk/Auditor's process. Give the inclusive date range and known names or booking numbers. Request the booking and release record, actual release date and time, release disposition or type, transfer destination, and holds if those items are maintained. Carbon County has not posted a sample release document, so do not claim that every field appears on one form.

The request can also ask the records officer which retention series applies when historical retention matters. Website visibility is separate from government retention. A row may vanish from Current Bookings while the agency record continues under an approved schedule. No Carbon-specific release-record retention term was located in the reviewed sources.

After the county responds, compare the release entry with the criminal case through Utah court record access, a courthouse terminal, or the court clerk. A dismissal, sentence, or later order can explain the legal basis for a change. It may not show when the jail completed the physical release. The two records answer related but different questions.

The official records page shows the submission and response route used for this focused request.

This county process is the official alternative to a release feed that does not exist. The response should then be matched to the court and any receiving agency.

Carbon County Release Archive Gaps

Carbon County's precise negative finding is useful. Current Bookings has exactly seven visible fields and no release or image column. No official 24-hour or 72-hour view, cadence, archive, retention statement, or sheriff inmate app was found. Even the table's lack of a timed browser auto-refresh cannot reveal when the source database changes.

A private comparison of roster snapshots may show that a name vanished at some point between checks. It cannot show whether the person was released on bond, completed time, left by court order, transferred to UDC, or entered federal or immigration custody. It also cannot supply the exact time. For that reason, disappearance is a lead for a call and date-bounded record request, never the finished three-day answer.

Carbon Release Custody Boundaries

Carbon County's table covers county bookings. It does not cover every place a person may go next. A county release record should state whether the booking ended in community release or transfer. The court record can show the legal order or case disposition, but it may not state when the jail completed physical processing.

Moved into state custody or AP&PUDC Offender Search and Board recordsUDC's public search is limited to current supervision.
Federal or immigration custodyBOP or ICE locator plus the case recordA missing result does not prove community release.

VINE can help with a one-person check or notification. It is not a certified release ledger, and notice may lag. The Board itself warns that VINE notices may be inaccurate or absent. When no public system resolves the status, return to the agency record rather than switching custody systems until one produces a name.

A person who completed state parole or reached sentence termination may also disappear from the live UDC index. Board decisions, UDC GRAMA records, and the sentencing case are stronger historical paths. For a named person across those systems, use the full Carbon County released inmate search.

When state custody is plausible, use UDC Offender Search and search by number if it is known because that avoids name ambiguity. Otherwise, the state interface requires at least one character of both the first and last name. Open the detail and compare location, legal status, assigned facility, the Release Date/Type entry, and case-manager information. A PAROLE location can mean prison confinement ended while supervision continues. A probation status cannot prove a prison release because a court may impose probation without a prison term.

For federal custody, a BOP result with a past release date concerns departure from BOP custody, not the end of every possible court or supervision obligation. ICE's locator may cover current custody and releases within its limited recent period, but a no-result is not proof. A federal pretrial person held through the U.S. Marshals Service may require the federal docket or release order because there is no public USMS historical release locator. These paths should be used only when the Carbon County booking record, court file, or another reliable fact points outside county custody.
